Acquisition of the bonded warehouse permission of Sendai Low Temperature Logistic Center

We announce that we obtained the bonded warehouse permission of Sendai Low Temperature Logistic Center under the date of December 1st 2018 from Yokohama custom office.
With the permission of bounded warehouse permission of fridge-freezer warehouse of this logistic center, we are now able to store / handle frozen / refrigerated import / export cargo.
In addition, we acquired permission of animal quarantine.

This center, completed in March 2016, is a 24 hours, 365 days operation warehouse that could handle cargo at 4 temperatures. It’s situated 3 km form Sendai-Higashi IC of Sendai Tobu Way. With its easy access to Tohoku area mainly Sendai and to all over Japan, it’s operated as the storage / logistic process for food / daily commodity etc. and the effective vendor campus.

With its closeness to Sendai Shiogama port (7 km), we provide total service from inbound to bounded area, customs clearing, to storage / sorting / distribution processing / shipping / delivery, to our clients in food industry. With this total support, we realized reduction of logistic cost related to bound, shortening of lead time and improvement of quality / reinforcement of compliance.
Since we obtained permission of animal quarantine, we can support the whole supply chain from procuration logistic to product sales logistics of livestock products.

We place the expansion of low-temperature logistic service in Tohoku area as one of the most important strategy of logistic business. With the acquisition of bounded warehouse, we are going to reinforce the service as the logistic base of global cold chain mainly around Sendai Shiogama port which has a large number of container handling.
