Katolec Corporation (Head Office: Tokyo, hereafter referred to as “Katolec”) acquired the shares of Ohnishi Butsuryu Co., Ltd (Head Office: Japan/ Shikokuchuoshi, Ehime Prefecture /, hereafter referred to as “Ohnishi Butsuryu”) on November 4, 2022.
Ohnishi Butsuryu, as a group company of Katolec, will enhance the corporate value of the entire company and provide more extensive services.

Purpose of Share Acquisition

Our logistics business has deployed a distribution network that links more than 50 logistics bases,approximately 700 company-owned vehicles, and 29 distribution centers and warehouses (approximately 260,000 square meters) throughout Japan. And joint delivery network for food products and cosmetics in the Kinki and Chugoku-Shikoku areas. Furthermore, the company provides an international intermodal logistics service that includes overseas bases as well.
Ohnishi Butsuryu, on the other hand, has a fleet of approximately 260 vehicles and three logistics bases, mainly in the Shikoku and Kanto, Kansai areas, and provides a variety of logistics services including transportation, joint delivery, warehousing, and distribution processing.
The two companies intend to further expand their logistics services by leveraging their respective strengths.
