The Setouchi Triennale 2019 closed

The Setouchi Triennale 2019 we support was closed successfully on November 4.

At the Shikoku Museum of Private Houses Foundation (usually called Shikoku-Mura), which KATOLEC Group supports, held the first official exhibition of art works and performance events at the Setouchi Triennale.
Throughout the spring, summer and autumn seasons, many visitors came from within and outside of the prefecture as well as from overseas. I think that they enjoyed the village that is different from usual, where contemporary art appears on the way of strolling through old houses and nature.
Setouchi Triennale 2019 was over and art works have been withdrawn, but it is the season when the autumn leaves are finally in full swing in Shikoku-mura.
Everyone who came to the art festival will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery weaved by nature next time.

About Shikoku-Mura

As one of our CSR activities, we continue activity to pass on tradition living and culture to today by moving old private houses and ruins from all over Shikoku to our birthplace, Takamatsu as our way of showing our gratitude to our “hometown”. You can enjoy restored private houses and tools from Edo to Taisho period, traditional industrial building of sugar and soy source making, lighthouse and rest place of lighthouse guard and elegant waterfall of Ajistone.
