Construction of new distribution center in Thailand

We are pleased to inform you that we will construct a new distribution center in Thailand with the aim of expanding logistics business.
At the beginning of this month, we held the "Ground Breaking Ceremony" in accordance with local religious ceremonies at the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate. We prayed for the safety of construction and completion of the distribution center. It is scheduled to be completed in July 2018.
The Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate is the largest industrial park in Thailand, located between Bangkok and the main port Laem Chabang.

In 2011, we established the current distribution center as our first overseas logistics base in Thailand. With approval by the Board of Investment (BOI), we have been conducting Distribution Center (DC) business. At the new distribution center, we expand the DC business, distribution processing business such as inspection and assembly, design and manufacture business of steel frames for packaging and transportation. The total floor area is approximately 26,000 m², which is about five times as large as the area of the current distribution center in the same industrial estate. By opening a new distribution center, we aim for even higher quality services.

We will enhance our logistics services in Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan, and expand our global logistics business in the future to support our customer’s business strategy.
In addition, current operations will be consolidated to the new distribution center.
